The falls boasts a true-to-life turquoise color and it is hidden in thick trees and rocky mountain. the fall is all-natural and the flowing water is clear and chilly.
The 3 Levels of Kawasan Falls
To get to this level, it will take 15 minutes to walk from the high way. In your walk, you will also get to enjoy vast rock formations along with the turquoise river flow.
This is the level of the fall that is mostly promoted. In this level, there are bamboo rafts where you can take your iconic Kawasan shots.
To get to this level, it will take 10 minutes of trekking from Level 1. The trek is easy but it gets slippery when the path is wet.
This level is more peaceful and is where people enjoy cliff jumping. Cottages and mini food stations are available on this level and you can also see bamboo rafts here like in Level 1.
It takes 15 minutes of trekking from Level 2 to this level of the falls. The path to this level is more challenging due to the need of crossing the rivers with a makeshift bamboo bridge without rails.
In this level, you can find the slides and swings, and you can also enjoy the spa-like experience with the fishes that eat the dead skin off of your feet.

Traverse From Osmena Peak to Kawasan Falls
Guadalupe Mountaineers invited us to camp at Osmena Peak, and hike to the fall in Badian the next day.
If you don’t like to hike, you have the option of hiring a motor-taxi or “habal-habal”. In our past experience, we paid 1000php and that’s inclusive of a day tour from Osmena Peak to Kawasan. They also offer different spots to visit along the way, but because of time constraints, we chose the Osmena and Kawasan package.
Canyoneering in Kawasan Falls
The guided Canyoneering activities in Kawasan rates from 1,500 – 1,700 depending on your booked canyoneering tour package. With the tour, it starts upstream towards the fall.
With a Canyoneering group, you will have the opportunity to see the different adrenaline-driven activities with ease and assurance of your team’s safety, tho the time you spend on each activity is limited.
